Tau vs. Tyranids Capture and Control - Turn 3

The Devilfish moved forward again and fired on the Hive Tyrant with its Burst Cannon, to no effect.  The Stealth Suit Team unleashed another massive fusillade on the Hive Tyrant, finally downing two of the Tyrant Guard under the sheer weight of fire.  The Shas’el fired its Airbursting Fragmentation Projector on the Lictor, fresh from destroying the Hammerhead, and killed it.  The Crisis Suits fired their Missile Pods on the nearest Carnifex but failed to wound it.  Fire Warrior Team 3 wounded one of the Deathspitter Warriors.  Fire Warrior Team 1 shot at the Rending Claws Warriors, killing a pair of them, leaving one left. 

In the assault, the Hormagaunts delivered one wound to the Crisis Suits, who in turn killed another Hormagaunt. 

The Hive Tyrant took aim at the Stealth Suits, and dropped a pair of Gun Drones with its Venom Cannon.  On the Tyranid right flank, the advance continued.  The Deathspitter Warriors missed with their Venom Cannon (again), but hit dead on with one of the three Deathspitters, killing four Fire Warriors in Team 3.  The two Carnifexes fired their Barbed Stranglers at the Fire Warriors and a Crisis Suit Team, but both were wildly off target.  One of the Biovores fired a bio-acid mine square on Fire Warrior Team 1, inflicting ten hits and killing four, causing the team to fall back.  The other biovores was way off target of the Stealth Suits. 

Two more Lictors arrived, one near the Stealth Suits and the other near the Devilfish.  The Lictor by the Devilfish charged it and hit it, but failed to penetrate the transport’s armor.  The other charged the Stealth Suits, ripping a pair of Gun Drones from the sky, but then fell under the weight of attacks from the remaining Gun Drones and Stealth Suits. 

The Hormagaunts brought down one of the two remaining Crisis Suits, while a pair of Termagants arrived on the scene to aid them, only for one of them to die under the desperate fists of the last Crisis Suit.
